Replacement of the oxygen cells
Follow the next steps to change the oxygen cells:
•
Take off the cell housing (see section 4.1 if needed)
•
Unclip the cell plate
•
disconnect cell number 1 (if necessary)
•
disconnect cell number 2 (if necessary)
•
disconnect cell number 3 (if necessary)
•
Replace the cell that needs to be replaced by unscrewing the cell on the plate
•
Take off the o-ring of the new cell before screwing it on the plate
•
Reconnect cells
•
put in place the plate in the cell holder
•
clip the plate in the cell holder
Oxygen sensors type are T22D cells from M3S. They are 1 year warranty, 2 years life time.
WARNING
Cells are parts of wear. M3S recommends their past systematic change 12 in 18
months of their date of manufacture (registered to the left of the bar code on the cell)
WARNING
M3S Alerts on the fact that an accepting cell to be calibrated and moving up to
1.6b at 6m on pur oxygen, is not necessary a good cell indicattong the good pPO
2
at 40m
either 100m. It expose the diver to a decompression sickness risk.
4.3.2
Replacement of the O ring
Regardless the total dive time, all the O rings needs to be replaced every two years.
– 5 connection’s red o-ring (small) 2 on the loop, 2 on the scrubber and 1on the ADV
– 3 scrubber’s red o-ring (big) 2 on scrubber caps, 1 inside the scrubber
– 1 cell housing red o-ring (medium)
– 1 inside scrubber black o-ring (biggest)
