It is important to perform the cycle "injection of

- purge of the rebreather" several times (at
least 3) in order to ensure the absence of other gas but oxygen. It is important to open the
exhaust valve to prevent over pressur in the loop.
If one or several cells are below 1b,
±
0.02b, it is necessary to calibrate them. This is done
according to the steps given in section 3.3.4.
If one or several cells are below 40mV, it is necessary to change it (see section 4.3.1). Then
it will be necessary to calibrate the new cells (see section 3.3.4 for calibration rules.)
Remark: It is possible that the cell does not climb to 1b not because they are not well cal-
ibrated but because they are out of order. Thus, it is necessary to check that their tension
are over 40mV in pure oxygen environment.

TRITON test flow diagram
Figure 3.3 gives a flow diagram of the successive tests needed to check the TRITON before
each dive. This flow diagram can be used as a memorandum.
