Meta Data
The C MX 5710 can extract meta data from the video input which can be converted an
inserted into the SDI output.
Time Code
TimeCode meta data can be retrieved from the video input and converted to any
of the below standards:
ATC-LTC
Ancillary Time Code (SMPTE 291M 2008)
carrying LTC codeword data.
ATC-VITC
Ancillary Time Code (SMPTE 291M 2008)
carrying VITC codeword data.
DVITC
Digitized Vertical Interval Time Code (SMPTE 266M 2008)
DVITC is only supported in SD-SDI signals (525/625).
Time Code input detection
DVITC will be detected if present in the incoming video signal. The detection of
the Time Code is
indicated with “present” on a green background. The insertion
lines are also indicated. For DVITC two insertions per video signals are possible,
normally the second insertion is a duplicate of the first one.
DVITC Reader line selection
The reading line of the DVITC Reader can be specified. Only the specified input
lines will be searc
hed for DVITC data. The reading line can be set to “AUTO”. In
this case, all possible lines will be searched for DVITC content. It can take a
while until the correct line is identified.
Time Code output insertion
Activating the respective checkboxes will insert the various transport packets into
the output SDI stream.
