A/D Converter Control
The A/D converter control is divided into three tabs:
-
Analog
Settings relevant for the analog video input (e.g. analog video input type
selection, Chroma, Pedestal, Hue, etc.).
-
Digital
Settings for the digital video output (e.g. comb filter selection, luminance and
chrominance gain, etc.).
-
Advanced
General advanced settings not specifically related to the analog input or
digital output (e.g. VBI blanking, Color Transmittion Improvement Control,
etc.).
Frame Synchronizer
The C MX 5710 provides a frame synchronizer functionality which will
synchronize the converted analog video input to an SDI output referenced to the
connected reference input.
If the module is used as a straight
forward A/D converter (i.e. the
synchronization isn’t required), the
frame synchronizer can be bypassed
(
). Simply
drag & drop the signal path on the
output of the frame synchronizer
block to the straight through path.
When the frame sync is bypassed the
module is set to minimum delay
mode.
