Adjustment Procedure

Air / Fuel mixture is adjusted at the burner tube.
WARNING: Incorrect adjustment of flame can lead to improper combustion which can be a safety hazard.
Flame Types
1.
Blue at the base with
active light orange.
Medium height (ideal)
2.
All blue with little or no
orange. Short height
(too much air)
3.
Lazy yellow with little
or no blue. Long
stringy flame (no air)
May result in sooty
deposits on glass

Flame Quality Adjustment
Access to this feature is done through the top of the
burner cover by removing the two fasteners from
the rectangular metal cover. Once the screws have
been remove lift off the metal cover plate.
A rotating sleeve located at the fuel entry of the burner tube directly after the gas orifice.. Once an adjustment has
been made the cover must be replaced and the unit re-started to evaluate the change. Please allow unit to reach
normal operating temperatures to properly determine final flame quality.
