During the start and shut down of the system, all outputs are in the safe mode.

All input signals are “invalid“, which refers to the safe mode.

If a safety critical error occurs during the start which does not allow a safe 
operation the module will be in the safe mode.

Modul Status

Description

After switching on the system, the modules start 
the initialisation of the micro controller and the 
local module perepherie.

adressing

Wait for the adressing via address bus with 
feedback of the communication parameter via 
L-Bus

configuration

The IO module received an address and was 
registered at the master. Now it receives 
configuration data from the master. The module 
acknowledges the receiving and transmits 
changed communication parameter because of 
the parameterisation if the module has any 
configuration data.
