Criteria and reaction for the limited run mode:

Failsafe

If the buscoupler is in failsafe mode no communication via TRDP or L-Bus

possible. All outputs are set to the safe state (0).

The buscoupler can still be reached and diagnosed via the webserver but shows
less data than usual. (e.g. the firmware version of the L-Bus

controller is

displayed as zero)

Criteria and reaction for the failsafe mode:

Criteria

Reaction

One or more modules are missing.
Type and position of the existing
modules are correct.

The master is only communicating with
the correct available modules. The
data of the none available modules are
represented as invalid or “0“.

Time exceedance at the
communication to different L-Bus

modules during the cycle data traffic
(e.g. the module is in the “fail safe“
mode)

If a continuous time exceedance is
detected, the master stops the
communication to the slave.The data
are represented as invalid or “0“.
