Mounting and Testing Wall Controls
Mounting
Mount the wall controls using the supplied screws.
Note:
If the control is being mounted next to other
controls, break off the side sections of the adjoining
controls to allow them to fit. This will not affect the
rating of this control. Wall controls can only be ganged
with other PELV (Class 2: USA) controls.
Install the wallplate. MW-V, MW-VETS, VETS-P, and
RX-MIC-MW models include a single-gang faceplate.
Contact Lutron if multi-gang faceplates are required.
Testing
The wall controls will not dim the lights at this time. The
lighting zone controllers will be in burn-in mode for 100
hours to season the lamps upon initially being
powered. See the Appendix at the back of this Guide
for a description of lamp burn-in. The wall controls will
turn the lights ON and OFF provided the emergency
contact closure is in place and the router panel or
GRAFIK
7000P processor is turned ON. (See the
appropriate Installer’s Guide for details on Emergency
Mode wiring and operation.)
After this 100-hour period, burn-in mode will
automatically end. The wall controls will then dim the
lights and turn them ON/OFF provided the emergency
contact closure is in place and the router panel or
GRAFIK
7000P processor is turned ON.
