11. Communicaon protocol RS232/C
This chapter is needed only, if you like to communicate with the temperature calibrator with your
OWN soware. This instrucons are intended to be used by soware engineers only.

The communicaon runs in half duplex way which means that the transmission and recepon of data cannot be
contemporeneously present. The regulator of the calibrator replies only aer receibing a command, it never replies
itself. The command and reply are ASCII character strings, as detailed forward. The communicaon program will be
able to convert ASCII to decimal to extract numeric values. The default adress is 1. Baud rate: 2400, 4800, 9600 and
1200 baud, the default value is 9600; the other parameters are standard and cannot be changed.
