9.2 Funcons of the 2. Funcon Menu Level
This funcons can be selected by pressing the „F“-key together with the „arrow-up“-key at the
same me. Once the 2. Funcon Menu Level is intered, these funcons can be selected only by
pressing the „F“-key. In order to go back to the first level, press the „F“-key and the „arrow-up“-key
at the same me or wait for about 20 seconds.

P.B.
Value of the Proporonal Band expessed in percentage of the value of the end temperature of this
temperature calibrator. Proporonal band means per cent of range within which there is the
variaon of the modulaon of the heang element power.
•
T.I.
Integral me value expressed in seconds. The integrang acon cancels the error between the
chosen set point and the temperature reached only ba the proporonal acon. Integral me
means the length of me necessary to the integrave acon to double up the proporonal acon.
•
T.D.
Derivave me expressed in seconds. When there is a step variaon of temperatures, the
derivave acon induces a greater inial adjustment, so that the calibrator will have a greater
power than it usual has due to the proporonal and integral acon only. Since the error keeps
exisng, the derivave acon reduces the impact giving the integrave acon the task of reducing
the error.

EXT SENSOR TYPE
-2I
This parameter allows selecng the kind of sensor read by the dipslay and connected to the four
„EXT“ terminals:
N, K, J, R, S
= thermocouples types N, K, J, R resp. S
Pt3W
= resistance thermometer Pt 100 3-wire
Pt
= resistance thermometer Pt 100 4-wire

UNIT
Temperature measuring unit:
°C
= degrees Celsius
°F
= degrees Fahrenheit
K
= Kelvin
