Heading updates can be applied from a number of sources (listed below. Also see

The heading value is always relative to true north.

Possible Source Flags (may be combined):

0x0000 – No source, heading updates disabled
0x0001 – Magnetometer
0x0002 – GNSS Velocity Vector
0x0004 –

External Heading Update
