Show the hours, minutes, seconds and date, as well as
the power-reserve.
3-position crown
Winding
(crown pushed right in)
The natural movements of your wrist will automatically
wind your Longines watch, which has a power-reserve
of 42 hours. It is only necessary to wind your watch man-
ually if it has not been worn for several days.
The power-reserve indicator moves automatically when
your watch is wound manually or automatically.
Adjusting the time and stop seconds
Pull the crown right out to position

. The seconds hand
will now stop. Adjust the time by turning the crown in
either direction. Synchronise your watch with a time sig-
nal (telephone, radio, TV) and then push the crown back
in to position
1
.
Quick date adjustment
Pull the crown out to the intermediate position

. Turn
the crown backwards (L602) or forwards (L693) until the
desired date is shown, then push the crown back in to
position
1
. It will be necessary to adjust the date at the
end of each month with less than 31 days.
IMPORTANT! The date should not be adjusted between
9 p.m. and 3 a.m. as doing so may damage the
mechanism.
