3-position crown
Winding
(crown pushed right in)
The natural movements of your wrist will automatically
wind your Longines watch, which has a power-reserve
of 38 hours. It is only necessary to wind your watch man-
ually if it has not been worn for several days.
Adjusting the time and stop seconds
Pull the crown right out to position
3
. The seconds hand
will now stop. Adjust the time by turning the crown in
either direction. Synchronise your watch with a time sig-
nal (telephone, radio, TV) and then push the crown back
in to position
1
.
Adjusting the date and the day
Pull the crown out to the intermediate position
2
, turn
it forwards to adjust the date, backwards to change the
day, and then push it back in again to position
1
. It is
necessary to adjust the date after each month with less
than 31 days.
IMPORTANT! The date should not be adjusted between
9 p.m. and 3 a.m. as doing so may damage the
mechanism.
