USInG THE REmOTE COnTROL
• Point the remote control at the REMOTE SENSOR located on the
unit.
• When using this unit in a very brightly lit area, the infrared REMOTE
CONTROL SENSOR may not work properly.
• The recommended effective distance for using the remote control is
about 16 feet (5 metres).
InSERTInG BATTERIES In THE REmOTE COnTROL
BATTERy REPLACEmEnT
When the batteries become weak, the operating distance of the remote control will be greatly
reduced and you will need to replace the batteries.
Note:
• Remove the batteries from the remote control when it is not to be used for a long period.
Otherwise it could cause corrosion or battery leakage and may result in physical injury and/
or property damage including fire.
• Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix ALKALINE, standard (CARBON-ZINC) or
rechargeable (NICKEL-CADMIUM) batteries.
• Corrosion, oxidation, battery-leakage and any other gradually acidic defect of this nature will
invalidate the guarantee.
• When discarding batteries, environmental problems must be considered and local rules or
laws governing the disposal of these batteries must be followed strictly.
CAUTIOn:
Danger of explosion may be resulted if batteries are incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the
same or equivalent type.
WARnInG:

Do not dispose of batteries in a fire or they may leak and/or explode.
• The battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the
like.

1. Press and lift the back cover up to open the battery
compartment of the remote control.
2. Insert two AAA size batteries. Make sure to match
the (+) and (–) ends of the batteries with the (+)
and (–) ends indicated in the battery compartment.
Snap the cover back into place.
