Secure the truss to the top plate with 3” nails.
32.
Locate the gable siding layout sheet. Install the
Smartside making sure it is 3” from the bottom of the 2x4
to the bottom of the wall.
33.
Secure with 2” nails.
34.
Secure with 2” nails every 6” to 8” on center.
35.
Lay wall to the side as shown.
36.
Continue with the opposite gable repeating steps
