2. GENERAL SAFETY NOTES
2.1. Principle intended use
The manufacturer and the supplier do not assume liability with wrong or non-intended use. Each
change of the machine, which was not executed by the manufacturer is prohibited. Changes through
extensions or conversions on the floor saw may only be executed with written permission of the
manufacturer.
The machine is built according to the state of the art and the recognized safety-relevant rules.
Nevertheless, dangers for life and limb of the user or third parties or impairments of the machine and
other real values can result.
The machine may only be used in a technically perfect state as well intended, in a safety- and danger-
aware manner while observing the operating manual. In particular, immediately remove faults which
can impair safety, or (have them removed).
Intended use
The LISSMAC floor saw is a floor cutting-off machine and is exclusively intended for cutting joints in
concrete or asphalt without water. Cutting comprises saw blades. The floor saw may be operated by
one person only. The operating position is behind the handle bars. Any other use above and beyond is
considered non-intended use.
Inclined cut: The saw blade can be tilted up to 5 degrees for an oblique cut via the adjusting crank.
Due to the inclined position of the saw blade, the blade guard is at a distance from the curb or a wall
and bond joints can be cut in this manner.
Part of the intended use is also the observance of the operating manual and the adherence to of the
inspection and maintenance instruction.
Non-intended use Foreseeable misapplications / non-intended use:

Cutting without blade guard
 Cutting concrete (conditionally possible with dry cutting. We recommend to only wet-cut
concrete)

Cutting wood, plastics or metal
(except for rebar embedded in concrete)
 Structural changes, which affect the operational safety of the floor saw

