NOTE:
On alternate versions of the Lippert 3000 series patio rail kit, there will
NOT
be two front and rear
bungees. An alternate version of the Lippert 3000 Series will have a J-bolt (Fig. 3A) located at both side
patio railing front bases (Fig. 4A). Pull the yellow lanyard (Fig. 3B) and turn the J-bolt a quarter turn
(Fig. 3C). Raise the side patio rails into a 90 degree position (Fig. 4B) until it clicks into the J-bolt, locking
the patio rail into position. The J-bolt also holds the side rail panel down and in place when the yellow
lanyard is pulled out, turned a quarter turn and the patio railing is folded down into the stowed position
(Fig. 2). The bungee cords (Figs. 2A and 6B or 6C) located at the front and rear of the patio rail assembly
now serves the same purpose.
6.
Release the door cables (Fig. 5A) by removing the retainer pins (Fig. 5C) from the door cable brackets
(Fig. 5B), on both sides of the ramp door.
NOTE:
Leave the retainer pin (Fig. 5C) on the door cable or in the door cable bracket on the door so the
retainer pin does not get lost.
7.
Gently lower the ramp door to the ground.
