8. 

Located towards the top of the ramp door, secure the curbside front panel bottom leg (Fig. 24A) into 

the keeper (Fig. 24B) by pushing the compression latch lever (Fig. 24C) towards the trailer, slide the leg 

into place and release the lever.

NOTE: 

Alternate versions of the Lippert 3000 series will have a spring plunger (Fig. 25A). Turn the lever  

(Fig. 25B) towards the trailer, and insert and secure the curbside patio rail leg.

9. 

If applicable, engage the J-Bolt (Fig. 16) on the driver's side of the patio railing. 

10.  For the driver's side patio railing (Fig. 26A), fold the front panel and gate (Fig. 26B) over towards the 

top of the ramp door.

11.  Lift the patio railing up into a 90 degree position (Fig. 27A).

12.  Swing the driver's side front gate and railing panel in towards the center of the ramp door (Fig. 28A).
