13. Located towards the top of the ramp door, secure the driver's side front gate bottom leg (Fig. 29B) into
the keeper (Fig. 29C) by pushing the compression latch lever (Fig. 29A) towards the trailer, slide the leg
into place and release the lever.
NOTE:
Alternate versions of the Lippert 3000 series will have a spring plunger (Fig. 30A). Turn the lever
(Fig. 30B) towards the trailer, insert and secure the curbside patio rail leg.

14. Secure the middle front gate (Fig. 31A) by rotating the U-shaped latch (Fig. 31B) over the curbside front
patio panel (Fig. 32A).
15. Attach the gap panel for added support and security for small children and pets, in between the rear
of the patio railing and the door jamb. Slide the rubber bulb side of the gap panel (Fig. 33A) onto the
extrusion edge of the door jamb (Fig. 33B).
16. Attach the three buckles (Fig. 34A) on the other side of the gap panel around the rear side panel
vertical post (Fig. 34B), through the holes in the screen and snap the buckles together.
