Maintenance Instructions
•
Use a dry cloth to wipe away dirt and other debris from the Lion Trek and battery
cords.
•
Do not completely discharge the Lion Trek. This will help maintain the battery
lifespan.
•
Fully charge the Lion Trek after each use to ensure that power is always available.
•
Do not open the Lion Trek. There are no user serviceable parts. Please call
customer support at 1-385-375-8191 or email questions to [email protected].
Storage Instructions
1. Charge the Lion Trek to full capacity before storing it.
2. Store the Lion Trek at room temperature. (Recommended temperatures listed on
warnings page)
3. For best results, use and recharge at least once every 3 - 6 months. This helps to
maintain the battery lifespan.
Recycling
This item contains a lithium iron phosphate battery, please recycle properly.
Warranty Repairs or Replacements
For warranty issues, contact Customer Service at 1-385-375-8191. Do not ship the Lion Trek
until you receive a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. Lion Energy will not
be responsible for any shipping or handling damage. Replacements are not sent until the
original Lion Trek is en route to our warehouse.
Limited Warranty
The Lion Trek comes with one-year limited warranty from defects in materials and
workmanship. Save proof of purchase, such as a dated receipt, to establish warranty
period. Without a dated receipt, we will use the manufacturing dated code. Lion Energy will
repair or replace the Lion Trek at our discretion upon inspection.
This warranty is invalidated if any of the following occurs, but is not limited to:
•
Failure to follow the instructions in the User’s Manual.
•
Accidental or unreasonable use, misuse or mishandling.
•
Overcharging or overloading.
•
Extended storage without recharging.
•
Repairs or modifications by an unauthorized person.
This warranty is in lieu of other express warranties. Lion Energy will not be liable for
consequential or incidental damages. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by
Lion Energy could void the user’s authority to operate this device.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any
interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency
energy and, if not used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference
to radio communications. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user
is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
•
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
•
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
•
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that of the receiver.
•
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio / TV technician for help.
