Measure the resistance between solar radiation sensor C287-2, circuit 676 (PK/OG)
and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to
D7
.
No
REPAIR circuit 676 (PK/OG) for an open. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
TEST the system for normal operation.
D5 CHECK CIRCUIT 468 (BN) AND 476 (BN/YE) FOR A SHORT TO CIRCUIT 676
(PK/OG)
Ignition OFF.
Disconnect: EATC Module C228b.
Measure the resistance between solar radiation sensor C287-1, circuit 468 (BN) and
C287-2, circuit 676 (PK/OG).
Measure the resistance between solar radiation sensor C287-6, circuit 476 (BN/YE)
and C287-2, circuit 676 (PK/OG).
Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes
GO to
D6
.
No
REPAIR circuit 468 (BN) or 476 (BN/YE) for a short to circuit 676 (PK/OG). CLEAR
the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
D6 CHECK CIRCUIT 468 (BN) AND CIRCUIT 476 (BN/YE) FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
Measure the resistance between solar radiation sensor C287-1, circuit 468 (BN) and
ground.
Measure the resistance between solar radiation sensor C287-6, circuit 476 (BN/YE)
and ground.
Yes
GO to
D7
.
No
REPAIR circuit 468 (BN) or 476 (BN/YE) for a short to ground. CLEAR the DTCs.
REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
