Instructions for the check points
6 Locking handles
- Loosen and retighten locking handles. Verify that threads are not damaged or binding.
7 Lift arm
- With the lift in it’s lowest position, manually raise the lift arm/boom. Verify that the shaft lowers and raises
freely. If the arm is binding, the mounting screw is too tight.
8 Flexlink arm to mast
- With the slingbar hanging in it’s lowest position, manually raise the slingbar and
flexlink
arm.
- Verify that the
flexlink
arm lowers and raises freely. If the
flexlink
is binding, the screw is too tight.
9 Flexlink arm to slingbar
- With the slingbar hanging in it’s lowest position, manually pivot the slingbar side-to-side. Verify that the
flexlink
arm lowers and raises freely. If the
flexlink
is binding, the mounting screw is too tight.
- Verify that hardware covering plastic caps are secure.
10 Slingbar
- Make sure that both safety latch clips are mounted.
11 Mast actuator
- Verify that the upper and lower actuator fasteners to the mast are tight.
- Inspect the micro switch in LA31 by using the Service box SB001 (21090013 (EU), 21090014 (UK), 21090015 (US)).
The enclosed adapter cable (enclosed with SB001), shall be inserted in socket-outlet marked ”g” in
Linaks instruction for SB001.
12 Battery and electrical cable installations
- Inspect that all cords are in the proper receptacles of the control box.
Charging cable (#1), handcontrol (#2), base motor (#3) mast actuator (#4).
- Verify that all cables are properly inserted. Reinsert if uncertain.
13 Emergency Stop function
- Press in the emergency stop button. With the emergency stop pressed in, verify that the lift does not operate
with the hand control buttons.
- Turn the red emergency button in the direction of the arrows. Verify that the button releases from the locked
position into the raised, open position.
14 Electrical emergency lowering device functions
- With the emergency stop out, verify that the electrical emergency-lowering device functions.
15 Charger function
- With the emergency stop out, insert the charger cable into a power outlet.
The yellow diode light on the control unit should light up.
