Cutting bar code tapes
The BCB is cut at the indicated cut marks (see figure 6.1).

If another tape is to be affixed directly after the preceding tape, the subsequent bar code value must differ
from the preceding tape by at least 1 m.

If there is a gap without tape after the preceding tape, it must be at least 300 mm wide before the subse

quent tape is affixed. The subsequent bar code value must differ from the preceding tape by at least 0.2 m.
NOTICE
Avoid cutting BCB!
If possible, avoid cutting bar code tapes.
Optimum position value determination by the BPS is achieved with continuously affixed BCB.
If there are mechanical gaps, first affix the BCB continuously. Then cut the BCB.
