Field weakening
Stop!
The available torque is reduced by the field weakening.
The motor is operated in the field weakening range if
ƒ
the output voltage of the controller exceeds the rated motor voltage (C0090).
ƒ
The controller is no longer able to increase the output voltage with rising speed due
to the mains voltage or DC−bus voltage.
Note!
An optimal machine operation in the field weakening range requires a correct
setting of the field controller and field weakening controller (
Manual field weakening
Stop!
If the field is weakened manually (SPEED−MCTRL.FldWeak (C7431/6) < 100 %),
the drive cannot create the maximum torque.
A manual field weakening is possible via SPEED−MCTRL.FldWeak (7431/6).
ƒ
For a maximum excitation, SPEED−MCTRL.FldWeak must be triggered with +100 %
(= 16384).
ƒ
If SPEED−MCTRL.FldWeak is not assigned (free), the field weakening automatically
amounts to +100 %.
