Adjustable Headrest & Lumbar Operating Instructions
1.
Press and hold down the right side of the
HEADREST
button to tilt the headrest forward.
Release the button when the desired level of tilt is achieved or when the headrest is fully
forward. Press and hold down the left side of the
HEADREST
button to return the headrest.
Release the button when the desired level of tilt is achieved or when the headrest is fully retracted.

Press and hold down the right side of the
LUMBAR
button to increase the intensity of the
lumbar. Release the button when the desired level of support is achieved or when the lumbar
is fully extended. Press and hold down the left side of the
LUMBAR
button to decrease the
intensity and return the lumbar. Release the button when the desired level of support is
achieved or when the lumbar is fully retracted.
With the exception of retracting the lumbar, these features are blocked and temporarily
suspended when the chair is in
LIFT
mode. Additionally, the headrest automatically retracts
and returns to the home position as soon as the chair starts in lift mode. The only feature
that is available for adjustment while the chair is in lift mode is the retracting of the lumbar.
Refer to the Battery Backup Assembly instructions for details about the functionality when
operating on battery backup. Full functionality is only available when the chair is powered
by utility power and not in lift mode.
Avoid pressing the
HEADREST
and
LUMBAR
buttons at the same time to reduce the chance
for an over-current condition.

The adjustable headrest and lumbar functions are independent of each other and provide the
means to customize the comfort level for individual users.
