Assembly Preparation
■ Carefully remove all contents from the product packaging.
■ Ensure you have all the accessories and tool(s) needed for assembly and operation. This also
includes suitable personal protective equipment.
■ Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily
operated the product.
Attaching the Assist Handle
(See Figs. 1-3)
■ Loosen the screws from the assist handle using the hex wrench provided to separate the assist
handle and the step guard.
■ Place the step guard onto the shaft from the bottom side. Align the screw holes on the assist
handle with the screw holes on step guard as shown (Fig. 1).
■ Tighten the screws moderately. Then adjust the assist handle to your desired position. The
assist handle can only be moved between the clamp and the foam ( ) on the shaft in Fig. 2.
The step guard must be in the same side as the operator.
■ Secure the screws tightly using the hex wrench (Fig. 3).
Installing the Shaft

If any parts are damaged or missing do not operate this product until the parts are replaced. Use
of this product with damaged or missing parts could result in serious personal injury.
Never install, remove, or adjust any attachment while the engine is running. Failure to stop the
engine can cause serious personal injury.
Do not attempt to modify this product or create accessories not recommended for use with this
product. Any such alteration or modification is misuse and could result in a hazardous condition
leading to possible serious personal injury.
To prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury, always remove the battery
pack from the product when assembling parts.
