C6-1 Identifying Faults

The Land Model 4500 Premier Dust/Opacity Monitor has been designed to allow the user to troubleshoot
a number of possible problems and faults.  If a fault condition occurs, the system OK LED on the
transmissometer will not be illuminated and the System OK relay will reset to Fault condition.
Error messages may be read by pressing the Maintenance switch for 3 seconds to enter Maintenance
mode, and pressing the

 ENTER key at the Faults menu.  The display will show the number of faults,

further depression of the

 ENTER key will display a series of fault messages.

NOTE

Non-fatal faults are reset once they have been viewed.
