3.5. Installing and Running the IP Configurator Wizard
PC Users
Insert the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini CD-ROM
into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
In your My Computer folder, double click the CD-
ROM drive. Double click “Install the IP configu-
rator”.
Follow the Wizard to complete installation.
If the IP configurator doesn’t open, select the pro-
gram from the Start Menu.
Follow the steps indicated in the Wizard. Once the
Wizard locates your Ethernet Disk mini (repre-
sented by its IP address), select it and click Connect
(Figs. 3.5.A. - 3.5.C.).

Mac Users
Insert the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini CD-ROM
into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
The CD should appear on the desktop. Double
click the CD icon, then double click “Install the IP
configurator”.
Follow the Wizard to complete installation.
From the application folder, open Utilities / LaCie
IP Configurator.
Follow the steps indicated in the Wizard. Once
the Wizard locates your Ethernet Disk mini (repre-
sented by its IP address), select it and click Connect
(Figs. 3.5.A. - 3.5.C.).
