Maintenance
This screen contains data and settings pertaining to the operation hours and
maintenance period for the vacuum pump and refrigeration system. Scroll up and down
to view the entire page.
Line Voltage Offset
These offset values determine the acceptable voltage range for electrical power
supplied to the freeze dryer. If the supply line voltage is outside of the acceptable range,
then the Line Voltage Range alert will be displayed. The default range is +/- 10% of the
nominal rated voltage (115V or 230V depending on the model). The LOW Line Voltage
Offset can be adjusted from 0 to -10 on 115V models or 0 to -20 on 230V models. The
HIGH Line Voltage Offset can be adjusted from 0 to +10 on 115V models or 0 to +20 on
230V models.
Vacuum Pump Protection
If vacuum pump protection is turned ON, the vacuum pump will automatically be turned
off if a “Vacuum Leak” alert is presented. This will protect oil filled pumps from losing
their oil, potentially damaging the pump in the event of a major vacuum leak.
The
factory default setting for vacuum pump protection is ON and it is highly
recommended that it remains in the ON setting.
If vacuum pump protection is turned
OFF, the pump will contin
ue to run after a “Vacuum Leak” alert is presented, leaving no
protection for the pump in the event of a major vacuum leak.
