6–8. REPLACING THE GROUP HEAD
GASKET (FIG. 2)
• If coffee leaks from around the
edges of the filter holder (L) during
dispensing, it may be due to an
obstruction in the delivery hole of the
filter-holder, in which case the hole
should be cleaned.
•
If the problem persists or if the filter
holder moves significantly beyond
the centre of the group head when it
is being fitted, the group head gasket
should be replaced.
To replace it, proceed as follows:
• Make sure that the machine is
switched off and disconnect the power
cable.
• Remove the gasket (H) and the shower
screen (G), using a flat screwdriver as
a lever.
• After having removed the gasket and
shower screen, clean the seat properly
before installing the new components.
• Once the new components have
been installed, insert the filter holder,
without the filter, into the group head
and move it in order to seat the gasket.
