Control/Indicator/Function

Description
Network*
This selection is mode dependent. When in the NCW mode, this item
brings up the MIL-STD-188-EEE Page. It allows you to connect to the
network, monitor network activity, and send or receive short messages. In
the MIL-STD-188-165A mode, this item brings up the Modem Page. This
page enables you to configure Modem parameters for SCPC operations.
Alarms*
The Alarms item opens the Configure Alarms Screen. This is a list of the
alarms that may occur in the Modem. The screen allows you to change the
alarm priority and to set a sound for an audible indicator.
Satellite
The Satellite item opens the Configure Satellite Screen. Use this screen to
enter information about the satellites you will be using for the network.
NCW Setup
This item brings up the NCW Configure Parameters Screen and is only
available in NCW mode. You may select from a series of tabs and controls
that enable the configuration of the detailed aspects of the Network Centric
Waveform mode.
TRANSEC*
The TRANSEC menu item enables control of AES encryption parameters
that are required for NCW operation.
System
The System item opens the System Configure screen. From this screen,
you can configure various satellite terminal parameters such as Location,
Block Up/Down Converter frequencies and antenna settings.
Modem*
The Modem item opens the Modem screen. From this screen, you can
configure various Modem parameters. In a multiple MPM configuration,
this screen will provide access to all modems in the configuration.
Selection of this item brings up the Select mode dialog. The dialog enables
you to put the system in Maintenance mode, SCPC mode or NCW mode.
Modem Stack
This item opens the Multiple Modem Setup Screen.
Terminal Calibration
This item opens the Terminal Calibration Screen.
HCI COMM Address
Selection of this item brings up the Address dialog. This dialog enables
you to change the IP address that the HCI will use to communicate with
the Modem.
IP Address Configuration
Selection of this item brings up the IP Address Configuration dialog. This
dialog enables you to change the IP address of the Modem. You may
change the network mask and default gateway of the IP data traffic port
(J1), and the IP address, but not the network mask or the default gateway
of the CDU port (J2).
SNMP
Selection of this item brings up the SNMP Configuration dialog after first
asking if you wish to change SNMP mode.
R2CP
Select Radio to Router Control Protocol Operation.
Alarm Sound
Enables selection of alarm sound from a drop down list.
