6.4 Troubleshooting Actions (for trained personnel only)
Many of the Errors and Troubleshooting Actions which can be performed by users are
categorized into several patterns as listed below.
Common Unit Movement Error
An Object might block the movement of the corresponding unit. Visually check
if anything is in the range of its motion. If found, remove it. If not found or after
removing the obstruction, perform Home Position and then restart routine. If
the error reoccurs, contact local service.
Errors related to Rack Transport
The movement of the Rack could not complete or the position sensors could
not detect the position of the unit related to rack transportation. If this error
occurred, check the conditions below.
・
The Trays are clean with its surface and placed correctly.
・
The Racks are clean and placed correctly.
・
The Line where the Racks slide to the left is clean.
・
The bottom side of Sample Holder is clean and not sticky.
If the conditions are clear, perform Home Position.
Errors related to Cell Transport
This is the error related to Cell transportation. If this error occurred, check the
conditions below.
・
The Cell Cassettes are set properly.
・
The Cell Waste Box is placed correctly and capable.
・
No cell is dropped in the range of cell transportation.
Switch off the Analyzer and Remove Cell Hand Cover. Then visually check
inside the window, where Cell Hand comes out from, whether any Cell is
present on the slotted lanes for Cell Cassette Tray or not. If present and
possible, remove it.
・
Cell Cassette Tray can move properly.
With the switch and the Cell Hand Cover off, try to push the Cassettes or
the Trays to the back to the end. If they can reach to the end, their handles
can be completely seen from the window. If one or both of them cannot be
pushed to the end, something (probably the Cell) must have obstructed the
movement. If it is possible, remove it.
Command Execution, Program Processing or Communication Error
An error occurred while the Analyzer is processing the program or command.
Switch off the Analyzer, wait 10 seconds and switch on. Then perform Home
Position to check the performance.
