Registering new subaddress relay boxes
Register subaddress relay box for subaddress-based
relay broadcast communication. Up to 15 boxes can be
registered.
1. Select [Program Subad.Confi.Box (Subad. Confid.
Registry)] and press the enter key.
2. Select [Program Subad Relay Box (Subad. Relay
Register)] and press the enter key.
3. Press an unregistered key.
4. Enter the subaddress 4-digit using the numeric
keys.
5. Press the enter key.
6. Enter the 4-digit F-Code password.
7. Press the enter key.
8. Enter the fax number of a final destination. (Max.
232 destinations)
9. Press the enter key.
10. Select whether or not you want the received docu-
ments to be printed out at your fax : Select [On] or
[Off].
11. Press the enter key.
Registering the fax forwarding information
Register the destination and designated hours for fax for-
warding.
1. Select [Program Fax Parameter] and press the
enter key.
2. Select [Fax Forwarding] and press the enter key.
3. Enter the fax number of the destination fax number
using the numeric keys, abbreviated numbers, one-
touch keys or chain dial keys.
4. Press the enter key.
5. Select whether or not you want the received docu-
ments to be printed out at your fax. Select [On] or
[Off] and press the enter key.
6. Select whether or not you want to designate a time
for the Fax Forwarding operation to begin and end.
Select [Delayed TX] or [All Day] and press the enter
key.
When selecting [Delayed TX], enter the desired
time for Fax Forwarding to begin using the numeric
keys.
7. Enter the desired time for Fax Forwarding to end
using the numeric keys.
8. Press the enter key.
Registering new group dial keys
Register multiple destination fax (telephone) numbers
and names under a one-touch key for group dialing.
1. Select [Program Group Key] and press the enter
key.
2. Press an unregistered speed-dial key.
3. Enter the desired group name. (Maximum 20 char-
acters)
4. Press the enter key.
5. Enter the other party's fax numbers and press the
enter key.
6. Check the currently registered information.
7. Press the enter key.
Program keys
Register frequently used communication modes or fax
numbers under one-touch keys.
1. Select [Program Program key] and press the enter
key.
2. Press an unregistered speed-dial key.
3. Select [Send], [Broadcast] or [RX Polling] and press
the enter key.
4. Enter the destination fax number.
5. Press the enter key.
6. Enter a name for the program]. (Maximum 20 char-
acters)
7. Press the enter key.
8. Check the currently registered information and
press the enter key.
Registering new permit telephone numbers
Register up to 5 numbers as permit telephone numbers
in this fax.
1. Select [Program Fax Parameter] and press the
enter key.
2. Select [Permit Tel No. (Permit tel nr)] and press the
enter key.
3. Select an unregistered key and press the enter key.
4. Enter the desired 20-digit permit telephone number
using the numeric keys.
5. Press the enter key.
Registering new permit IDs
Register the password (permit IDs) for password check
communication.
1. Select [Program Fax Parameter] and press the
enter key.
2. Select [Permit ID No. (Permit number)] and press
the enter key.
3. Select an unregistered key and press the enter key.
4. Enter the desired 4-digit permit ID using the
numeric keys.
5. Press the enter key.
Registering new encryption keys
Register a 16-digit cipher key password for encrypted
communication.
1. Select [Program Encryption ID (Program Encryp-
tion Code)] and press the enter key.
2. If Restricted Access is turned OFF, enter the cur-
rently registered administrator number using the
numeric keys.
3. Select an unregistered key and press the enter key.
4. Create the desired 16-character Encryption Key
using the numerals (0 - 9) and the English alphabet
(A - Z) on the touch panel.
5. Press the enter key.
