Chapter 4: Using the web interface

Handling SMS messages

Viewing or changing SMS service center number

The SMS service center number identifies the SMS service center used when sending

and receiving SMS messages. The SMS service center number is stored on the SIM

card.
• To see the SMS service center number, select

MESSAGES

Message settings

from the left navigation pane.

• To change the number, click

Edit

next to

SMS service center

, change the

number and click

Save

. Then click

Apply

to apply all changes in the page.

The SMS service center number is provided from your Airtime Provider.

Viewing the Voice mail number

You get an SMS notification in the web interface when you have received Voice

mail. The Voice mail number is the number you call to hear your incoming voice

mail.

To see the Voice mail number, select

MESSAGES

Message settings

from the left navigation pane. The

Voice mail

number

field shows the Voice mail number.

Note

The Voice mail number is only listed if it is available on the SIM card.

Otherwise, refer to the information included with your Airtime

subscription.
