Serial interfaces 

The RS232 and RS485 serial interfaces are each available via identical plug-in connectors. 

However, the connector pins are not double-assigned, i.e. it is possible to use the respective 
interfaces simultaneously on one connector. 

 

5.4.1

 

COM A 

Devices that communicate via the RS232 or RS485 (half-duplex) interfaces can be connected to 
serial port A. The interfaces are isolated.
