under the terms set out below for all purchasers of new KUHN equipment from a KUHN
authorised dealer, that it warrants the said equipment against any design fault or
manufacturing defect provided the equipment in question has been used and maintained in
accordance with the instructions set out in the manual supplied with it.
This warranty covers our equipment for one year with effect from the day the equipment is
delivered to the user, subject to a maximum of 500 hours of operation.
The date of the invoice to the ultimate purchaser and the return of the warranty certificate
by the dealer to the Company, duly signed by the dealer and the purchaser, will constitute
proof of delivery of the equipment.
Warranty is limited to a refund for or repair of parts acknowledged as defective in our
factories by our Technical Departments.

Parts included in the make-up of machines, but which are not manufactured by
KUHN-NODET, such as tyres, drive shafts, torque limiters, hydraulic cylinders, etc., are
not covered by the KUHN-NODET warranty but by the warranties of their respective
manufacturers.
Warranty claims for this type of part are to be handled in the same way as they would be
for parts manufactured by KUHN-NODET. However, compensation will be in accordance
with the warranty terms of the manufacturer concerned, subject to the latter acknowledging
the validity of the claim.
It is understood that warranty will not apply if the failures are due to normal wear
and tear, to damage resulting from negligence or a failure of supervision, improper use, a
lack of maintenance and/or if the machine has been involved in an accident, loaned or
used for a purpose other than that intended by the Company.
Warranty will be null and void if the machine has been modified without the
express approval of the company, or if parts which are not genuine have ben fitted to a
machine sold by the Company and/or if repairs have not been carried out by an
authorised dealer.
The Company shall not be held liable for damage sustained by the machine or its
attachments during transport and handling by any carrier, whether or not within the legal
warranty period. Machines, attachments or parts are shipped at the risk of the consignee.
The Company shall not be under any obligation as a result of any claim by or
injury to the owner or any third party, or from any liability so arising.
Likewise, the Company shall not be under any obligation to pay compensation on
any grounds whatsoever in the event of loss of crops or any other loss due to a failure,
hidden defect or breakdown of the machine.

Normal maintenance of the machine, i.e. lubrication, checking and maintaining oil
levels, minor adjustments, etc.
