occurs.
N.B.:
Ö
Disc rotation monitoring is only operational while sowing work is taking place,
i.e. while the wheel with the sensor is moving whether or not there is an alarm
already.
Ö
Absence of seed monitoring (optional) is activated at all times, even if there is
no sowing activity.
Ö
In the event of multiple alarms concerning disc rotation, the display will only
show the first five. It should be noted that it nevertheless records and monitors
the seed drill in its entirety.
Ö
When alarms are detected, the control box continues to record hectares as per
the programmed configuration.
Anomalies
Control box: display not showing:
• The control box is switched OFF.
• There is no 12 V power supply to the control box.
• The 1.6 amp control box fuse is blown.
Disc rotation monitoring
Working: a number shows on the first line of the display and the 3 red LEDs are
on:
• The sowing disc whose number is indicated is not turning: put the disc right.
• The relevant disc is turning: the sensor needs setting or is faulty.
• The wiring is faulty.
Working: numbers 1 to 5 are showing on the first line of the display and the red
LEDs are on:
• The seed spacing control boxes are in neutral.
• The drive chains are not in place.
• The main connector is not plugged in properly.
• Despite the main connector being plugged in properly, current is passing
through with difficulty. Apply a spray for electrical contacts to the male and
female connector pins.
Monitoring absence of seed in trays (optional)
Working or at rest: black blocks show on the second line of the display (or the end of the first
line with 18 rows) and the 3 orange LEDs are on: a lack of seed has been detected, the
numbers under these blocks refer to the numbers of the empty trays.
Whether working or at rest, if at least one tray is empty and no black block is shown on the
display, a lack of seed has not been detected:
• One or more sensors needs/need setting.
• One or more sensors is/are faulty.
• The wiring harness is improperly connected.
• The wiring harness is faulty.

Hectares counter sensor
This has an 800 mm wire with a connector – gap setting: 1.5 mm.
