not on fabrics etc.).
· Prepare the pieces of food. Distribute them evenly on the required amount
of trays, taking care that they do not touch each other.

tray below; pay attention to the marking

· Place the trays on the base and put the lid.
· Plug the mains plug into a suitable socket. An acoustic signal sounds and
the display shows 10:00 hours. By pressing the +/- buttons, you can set
the desired time in increments of 30 minutes to a maximum of 19.5 hours.
Then press the select button to switch to the temperature display. Press the
+/- buttons again to set the temperature in 5 °C increments from 35 °C to
a maximum of 70 °C. Then press the on / off button to start the drying
process.

on / off button for approx. 3 seconds.
· After the set time has elapsed, an acoustic signal sounds and the drying
process is ended.
· Take the dehydrator trays from the base.
· After use, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet to turn off the unit
and allow it to cool.
Overheating protection
This unit is equipped with overheating protection, which provides automatic
shutdown at high temperatures. In this case, unplug the power cord and allow
the unit to cool for a few minutes before restarting the drying process.
Tips and Tricks
· Use only flawless foods; cut out any damaged areas generously.
· Fruit should be ripe but not overripe. Remove core housing, stems and stones
(except cherries).
· Cut the food into evenly sized pieces or slices to make sure they are comple-
tely dry at the same time.
· Sprinkle fruits with lemon juice before drying to avoid oxidation.
· Small pieces or thin slices are quicker to dehydrate than large ones, but keep
in mind that the food will shrink very much during drying.
· Place the dehydrator so that it does not disturb during use.
· Do not overfill the trays to ensure free air circulation.
· In the top tray, the temperature may be slightly lower than in the bottom tray.
For a consistent result, we recommend changing the trays in half the time.
· Check the condition of the food shortly before the end of the drying process.
Depending on the water content, it may be necessary to extend the drying
time.
· Dab marinade, e. g. Beef Jerky, before the drying process thoroughly with
a paper towel.
· Allow the dried food to cool completely before packing and storing. Lock-
able glasses, vacuum-sealed portion packs or air-permeable linen bags are
ideal for storage. Plastic bags are not suitable.
· A storage in dry, cool and dark locations extends shelf life.
