Operation

Replacing the fuses

Remove the fuse box cover (1).

Remove the burnt out fuse from the fuse box (1) and replace it.

The fuse layout is shown in the figure below.

Burnt out fuses may only be replaced with fuses of the same type and same rating.

The bypassing of fuses, for example by a wire, is not allowed.

If the malfunction can not be remedied by replacing the fuse, or if the fuse blows again when starting, 
contact skilled personnel.

Before replacing the slow-blow fuse and other fuse, turn the starter key on the "STOP" position, stop 
the engine and disconnect the negative terminal (-) of the battery. Otherwise a spark or the like may 
result into a dangerous situation.

The main fuses (page 152) of the machine are situated above the battery.
