1. Fill 0.25 litres of oil through the opening between the stationary assembly of
mechanical seal 433.02 and rotor 818.
2. Thoroughly clean rotor 818 and the contact face of the stationary assembly of
mechanical seal 433.02. Remove any oil residues.
3. Fit the rotating assembly of mechanical seal 433.02.
4. Fit impeller 230 and suction cover 162. Observe the tightening torques.
7.2.2.2 Lubricating the rolling element bearings
The rolling element bearings of the pump sets are grease-packed and maintenance-
free.
7.3 Drainage/cleaning
WARNING
Fluids handled, consumables and supplies which are hot and/or pose a health
hazard
Hazard to persons and the environment!

Collect and properly dispose of flushing fluid and any fluid residues.
▷
Wear safety clothing and a protective mask if required.
▷
Observe all legal regulations on the disposal of fluids posing a health hazard.
1. Always flush the pump if it has been used for handling noxious, explosive, hot
or other hazardous fluids.
2. Always flush and clean the pump before transporting it to the workshop.
Provide a certificate of decontamination for the pump set.

Risk of injury!

Always have repair work and maintenance work performed by specially trained,
qualified personnel.
