The machine is shut down and safeguarded, see Page 24 .
„
Unscrew the screw (1) on the universal shaft guard (2).
„ Turn protective cap and protective pipe towards each other and push back universal shaft
guard (2) in the direction of the arrow.
„
Push universal shaft with overload protection onto PTO shaft on the rotary tedder. Ensure
that the safety device (3) has engaged.
„
Remount universal shaft guard (2) and secure with screw (1).
„ Push universal shaft guard (2) onto the gearbox extension and secure with the auger thread
clamp.

6.3 Remove the preservation wax from the tines

Preservation wax at the tines leads to clumping of the cut crops at the tines, resulting in
impairment of the working process.
