Basic setting
5.4 Switching from one side
swath to two individual
swaths
•
Before extending the rotor, make
certain there is no one in the area of
the rotor!
•
Never try to switch to the work setting
if the tines are in contact with the
ground.
•
Charge the double action control hydraulics with
pressure and move the rotor out slowly.

Next lower the rotor into work position.
•
Fold over the front swath cloth for two swaths

Pull the hinged cotter pin (1)
-
Pull the swath cloth (2) out of the support and
push it into the supports positioned in back and
offset by 90°
-
Secure with hinged cotter pin.
-
Raise the rotor by activating the single-action
control device to the headland position.
The forward speed is based on the work image = orderly
rake work with good formation of swaths.
The work width setting of the rotor arms
should be adjusted in the headland
position.
5.5 Switching from two individual
swaths to one side swath
•
Fold over the front swath cloth for two single swaths

Pull the hinged cotter pin (1)
-
Pull the swath cloth (2) out of the support and
push it into the support that is offset 90° forward.
-
Secure in place with the hinged cotter pin.
-
Raise the rotor by activating the single-action
control device to the headland position.
•
Charge the double action control hydraulics with
pressure and move the rotor together very slowly.
