► Lower the trailer with the air suspen-

sion 

(see "5.10 Air suspension", pg. 42)

► Drive the trailer under the swap body.

► Lift the trailer with the air suspension

(see "5.10 Air suspension", pg. 42)

.

► Close the lock 

(see "" pg. 66)

.

► Fold in the landing legs of the swap

body.

► If applicable, extend the rear underrun

protection.

body is secured.

Unstacking the swap body

!

 WARNING

Risk of accident caused by incorrectly
unstacking the swap body!

If unstacked incorrectly, the swap body
could fall over and cause serious personal
injury or material damage.

► While unstacking the swap body, se-

cure the carrier vehicle against rolling
away.

► Ensure that no persons are in the

danger zone when unstacking the
swap body.

► Only unstack the swap body on suit-

able and designated surfaces.

► Only unstack the swap body on a flat,

load-bearing surface.

► Never unstack a swap body with de-

fective or missing landing legs.

 WARNING

Risk of accidents from locking and se-
curing the landing legs incorrectly!

Landing legs that are not or insufficiently
secured can collapse during unstacking.
As a result, the swap body could fall over
and cause serious personal injury or ma-
terial damage.

► Before unstacking, unfold all landing

legs and adjust the telescopic landing
leg feet to the same parking height.

NOTE

Material damage caused by an unsuit-
able parking location!

Parking the swap body in an unsuitable
parking location can lead to material dam-
age to the swap body and operational
malfunctions due to lack of space and bad
lighting.

► Park swap bodies in a space that is at

least 4,500 mm (15 ft) long, 4,000 mm
(13 ft) wide, and 4,500 mm (15 ft)
high. The area of the parking space
should be lit with an illumination
strength of 300 lx - 500 lx at a height
of one metre (3 ft) over the ground of
the parking space.

Find a suitable parking space for the
swap body.

Observe the operating instructions for
the swap body.

► Align the trailer straight and park it on

the parking area.

► Apply the parking brake on the trailer

(see "5.9.2 Parking brake", pg. 38)

.

► Use wheel chocks to prevent the trailer

from rolling away 

(see "5.1 Using wheel

chocks", pg. 23)

.

► Lift the trailer with the air suspension

(see "5.10 Air suspension", pg. 42)

.

► Fold out the landing legs.

► If applicable, 

(see "5.14 retract the rear

underrun protection", pg. 46)

.

► Open the lock 

(see "" pg. 66)

.

► Lower the trailer with the air suspen-

sion 

(see "5.10 Air suspension", pg. 42)

.

► Slowly pull the trailer with the tractor

unit from under the swap body.
