20.0 Interaction with nature and the environment
Paragliding is a sport where you get to experience nature as closely as possible. These
surroundings are particularly environmentally sensitive which does not just require re-
levant care, rather it requires well developed protection. Whilst practising our sport we
should always remain aware of this fact and that the unnecessary noise that is produced
can greatly disturb animals.
Even entering the launch and landing spots can affect the self-regulation of an ecosystem.
Please be aware of the plant world and respect the animals’ habitats. You can enjoy the
beauty and diversity of nature and its landscape without undermining your experience or
relaxation.
21.0 Disposing of the equipment in an environmentally friendly way
As an environmentally friendly manufacturer of paragliders, we place a high value on pro-
ducing our products in an ecologically and socially acceptable way. Equally the materials
used in our products are evaluated according to environmentally acceptable criteria and
they undergo continuous checks. When disposing of the glider in an appropriate manor,
the steel fittings should be separated and disposed of with metal waste. The canopy, lines
and risers can be placed in household waste. We are happy to take back old equipment
for disposal free of charge.
22.0 Certification
The Green b has been awarded LTF A /EN A certification in both normal and accelera-
ted flight in sizes S, M and L. The certification only provides information about behaviour
for tested manoeuvres. We would like to point out that there is little account of flight per-
formance in more active thermals and turbulent winds.
