COMPONENTS FOR LIGHT STRUCTURES:
As ‘lightweight’ receiving structures such as steel box section and standing seam roofs are not as strong, additional precautions must be taken when
sizing the device. Taking the mandatory 2x safety margin into account, the forces transmitted to the structure when supporting workers and arresting
falls must be reduced so as not to exceed the load these materials can accommodate, namely 7.5 kN.
