Temperature Settings
Always choose the highest temperature setting (Max.) when
preparing a meat fondue. Adjust the temperature, if necessary.
For
a cheese or chocolate fondue choose a medium
temperature setting. cheese as well as chocolate need to be
heated up slowly. therefore, start at a low temperature level.
During the melting / warming up process stir on a regular basis.
Cleaning and Care
Due to hygienic reasons clean the appliance after each
use, and remove any food residues. Not doing so could
possibly result in a hazardous situation.
Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and
disconnect it from the mains. Let it completely cool down.
Never
immerse the appliance in water.

- Empty the Fondue pot.
- clean the fondue pot (1), splash guard (2) and fondue forks
(3) in warm water using some dishwashing detergent. Rinse
them afterwards and dry them thoroughly. If necessary,
wipe the heating plate (5) and base (4) with a damp cloth.
Otherwise keep it dry and do
not
immerse it in water.
- Do
not
use any aggressive cleaning agents and/or other
hard objects to clean the appliance.
Soak any stubborn residues: Pour some water and a little
dishwashing detergent into the fondue pot (1), let it soak over
night or switch on the appliance at the lowest temperature level.
Leave to soak for approx. 10 minutes, switch off the appliance,
let it cool down and continue cleaning as described above.
