To avoid possible burns and risk of fire

• the temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during
operation. therefore, do

not

touch the appliance during and/

or immediately after operation. Only use the resp. handle.

• Do

not

move the appliance during operation.

• Adhere to a safety distance around the appliance.
• Do

not

use the appliance close to or under inflammable

objects, e.g. table cloth, curtains, wall cabinets.

• Make sure, that during use, neither the power cord nor any

other objects lie across the hotplate.

• Oil and fat content might easily ignite and catch fire. Never

pour water into the heated fat or oil in the fondue pot! this
would cause a darting flame and possibly a fire which could
also ignite furniture and curtains etc. Additionally, you may
be bodily harmed.

to extinguish burning fats and oils, immediately remove the

power plug from the wall socket and smother the flames by
placing a lid or a fire blanket over the fondue pot.

Only

use the included fondue forks or metal utensils with an

insulated handle.
