use the fondue pot and

no

other pots with the base

provided..

• Make sure that the fondue pot sits properly on the centre of

the base.

Never

use the fondue pot as a cooking appliance on other

sources of heat, e.g. on the stove, hotplates, inside the
microwave resp. inside any oven.

•

Never

operate the appliance with an empty fondue pot.

Always, adhere to the minimum and maximum filling level
inside the fondue pot.

•

Only

use oil or fat suitable for fondues. Butter or margarine

is not suitable. It is also possible to use cheese, broth or
chocolate.

•

Never

place aluminium foil or any other object between the

fondue pot and the hotplate. Irreparable damage may be
caused to the appliance.

• Failure to maintain the appliance in a clean condition could

lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect
the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous
situation.
