Before First Use
• Remove all packaging material and check whether the
appliance is complete.
• clean the fondue pot (1), splash guard (2) and fondue forks
(3) in warm water using some dishwashing detergent. Rinse
them afterwards and dry them thoroughly. Wipe the heating
plate (5) and base (4) with a damp cloth.
Note:
the heating plate has a protective coating. During
first use, this could cause a slight build-up of smoke and
odour. this doesn’t cause any harm nor does it mean that your
appliance does not work properly. Make sure that the room is
well ventilated!
Warning:
Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and
babies, therefore keep them away to avoid suffocation.
Operation
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high
during operation. Therefore, do not touch the appliance
during and/or immediately after operation.
A Fondue is the perfect way to gather family and friends around
the table for a delicious, casual dining experience. Prepare
your individual, favourite Fondue e.g. cheese, Bourguignonne
(classic oil based fondue), chinoise (broth based fondue) and
for dessert chocolate.
Set-Up and Heating-Up
1. Place the appliance on an even, non-slippery and heat
resistant surface. Best, choose the same location where
you are going to eat later, as the filled appliance must not be
moved anymore.
2. Fill the fondue pot (1) with the resp. ingredients: cheese, oil,
broth or chocolate.
