Whenever you are not sure about a certain setting, you may refer to the list of default
values. The list of defaults is provided in the event that a value has been changed and one
wishes to set this option to its original value. Loading the BIOS or SETUP defaults will
affect all the options in this screen (or all parameters if defaults are loaded from the Main
Menu) and will reset options previously altered.
The BIOS Default settings consist of the
safest set of parameters. Use them if the system is
behaving erratically. They should always work but do not provide optimal system
performance.
The SETUP Default values provide
optimum performance settings for all devices and
system features.
CAUTION
These parameters have been provided to give control over the system.
However, the values for these options should be changed only if the user has a
full understanding of the timing relationships involved.
